1994 14.1 Hand Dark Bay Welsh Mare
I first met Brownie in college, where she was used as a school horse for dressage, hunt seat, and occasionally western lessons. She was small compared to most of the school horses, who averaged 16 hands. Her sweet nature and wonderful conformation, combined with the pony lover in me to led to her purchase. She has foaled two awesome sport ponies for us that have matured into lovely geldings that the kids enjoy riding.
Brownie passed peacefully March 2012. Her bright eyes and always curious expression will be missed. She was a fun pony to ride and a great mare.
